Books, books, books

Hay is a town in Herefordshire. It normally has 1,500 people and 41 bookshops. Except during the Hay Festival, when it becomes Literature Central. Lots more people, lots more books! The festival is now run in conjunction with the Guardian and there are some lectures, signings and talks later in the year in London.
